Job summary

Hanover Township is offering a Clinical Services Therapy Intern position. The intern will provide direct intervention to individuals, families, school-based groups, and therapy groups, under supervision, to prevent delinquency and promote positive youth development using trauma-informed approaches.

The role requires enrollment in an approved internship in a relevant field, university approval, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an internship in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field as approved by the Clinical Manager.
• Approved by accredited university to pursue internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and knowledgeable about clientele database management.
• Ability to use and manage an electronic medical records system.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct intervention to individuals, families, school-based groups and therapy groups.
• Collaborate with Outreach and Prevention staff and community providers to assess clinical needs of Township residents.
