Job summary

Center For Positive Changes in San Diego, CA, is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team serving youth in our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).

This role provides meaningful therapeutic support to youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges while collaborating with licensed clinicians, residential staff, social workers, probation officers, and community partners to promote trauma-informed care and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD and minimum two years direct care experience in mental health.
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum four years direct care experience in mental health.
• Associate’s Arts degree and minimum six years direct care experience in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful therapeutic support to youth in STRTP.
• Collaborate with licensed clinicians, residential staff, social workers, probation officers, and community partners.
• Support trauma-informed care and help youth build healthy coping skills.
