BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. is seeking a Dual Diagnosis Clinician to join the Child & Family Treatment Team in Oregon.

You will work with youth clients and their families, delivering individual, group, and family counseling using an integrated approach to address substance use and co-occurring mental health issues. The role requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, at least one year of youth experience, and licenses such as QMHP.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social work, Counseling, Child & Family, or other behavioral science field required
• Minimum 1 year working with youth in a behavioral health setting (2 years is preferred)
• Minimum 1 year working with substance-use disorder (2 years is preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience providing family counseling
• For individuals in recovery from substance-use disorder, must have maintained continuous recovery for the previous two years at the time of hire

Responsabilidades

• Works closely as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing outpatient services to youth clients and their families
• Conducts comprehensive assessments that includes assessment for the presence and impact of trauma in youths and family
• Identifies needs and current functioning by working with the youth clients and families
• Works with youth and family to develop a treatment plan with measurable indicators of progress
• Utilizes evidenced-based interventions in individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Works with clients and family to identify and address risk and safety concerns
• Develops safety plans co-created by youth and family and monitors updates
• Uses crisis de-escalation skills to prevent or stabilize crises
• Builds skills in adaptive and emotional coping
• Educates clients/families about addiction, recovery, and coping strategies
• Engages youth and family in psychoeducation about diagnoses and intervention strategies
• Maintains documentation in client files and agency logs per HIPAA timelines
• Maintains compliance with state/federal laws including HIPAA and OSHA
• Models professional behavior and builds community partner relationships
• Collaborates with referral sources while protecting client confidentiality
