Ramey-Estep Homes, Inc. seeks a Youth Empowerment Specialist (YES) to join a 24-hour residential treatment team for youth ages 12-17 with trauma histories. The YES supervises youth during daily activities and provides emotional support to promote growth in a safe environment.

The role requires flexible shifts (days, evenings, midnights), a driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Experience with emotionally disturbed children preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and directly supervise youth to ensure safety and well-being.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to youth in daily activities.
• Respond to crises and de-escalation situations with calm, professional presence.
• Collaborate with treatment team to implement treatment plans.
