Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking staff for parent-child visitation services in Cumberland County, NJ. The role includes transporting families to visitation, supervising visits, and documenting encounters in a supportive, trauma-informed framework to strengthen family connections.

Requirements include a NJ driver's license, a high school diploma, and 1 year of relevant experience. Competitive benefits are offered alongside opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with children and families, particularly those involved with child welfare or affected by trauma.
• Thirty (30) semester hour credits from an accredited college, including twelve (12) in behavioral sciences, may be substituted for the experience.
• Must possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey and a clean driver's abstract.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and/or parents to and from visitation locations, ensuring passenger safety and vehicle upkeep.
• Supervise visits and document transportation encounters and visits.
• Communicate with visitation specialists, parents, resource parents, and children as needed.
• Create a trauma-informed environment that supports healthy family interaction during visits.
