Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counselor, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children and families, particularly those affected by trauma.
• Valid NJ Driver's License.
• Valid LPC, LAC, LSW, or CSW.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains communication with families in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Schedules and conducts visits in home-like settings while ensuring child safety.
• Ensures a safe environment for parent-child contact and promotes healthy attachment.
• Uses trauma-informed strategies to engage families and provide support.
• Transports children and/or parents as needed and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Creates visitation plans with active family involvement and updates regularly.
• Documents visits, completes reports, and maintains agency progress notes.
