The Center For Family Safety and Healing seeks an Adult Trauma and Family Violence Therapist to assess adults affected by interpersonal violence and develop individualized treatment plans. You will provide evidence-based counseling (CBT, CPT, EMDR, motivational interviewing) and coordinate referrals within a trauma-informed, family-centered care framework.

Expect accurate documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Child Development, or related field.
• Independent Ohio licensure in social work or counseling (LISW, PCC) preferred.
• Two years of experience in social services with trauma emphasis; experience with sexual victimization or domestic violence preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Advocates for children and families and connects them with resources.
• Collaborates with families to develop service plans aligned with their strengths, goals, and priorities.
• Completes documentation and paperwork in a timely, legible manner per policy.
• Educates families on developmental milestones and health services.
• Ensures confidentiality and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Implements interventions and offers education and problem-solving support.
• Uses developmental screening and assessment techniques.
