Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Services or Addictions; bachelor’s preferred with two+ years in AOD/mental health setting.
• Licensed or certified as a SUD Counselor: CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LCADC, LCPC, LCSW.
• Combination of comparable skills, experience, and education.
• Understanding and supportive of a trauma-informed system of care.
• Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to support the agency’s mission while honoring diversity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential assessments using ASAM criteria to determine level of care.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Assist clients to meet all requirements and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Use evidence-based practices to meet clinical needs.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and communicate progress and barriers.
• Follow documentation standards for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Be on-call for patient care and holidays as required.
