Job summary

The Jewish Board’s Center for Jewish Mental Health in Brooklyn seeks a licensed social worker to deliver assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy within the Lev Initiative for survivors of intimate partner violence. You will serve a diverse outpatient caseload with trauma-informed care and strong collaboration across community supports.

Hybrid in-person/telehealth work is expected, with culturally responsive practice across Jewish and broader communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field and NY licensure or permit required.
• Experience providing outpatient mental health treatment preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse clients and sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk evaluations.
• Develop and update treatment plans with clients and supports.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Coordinate care with psychiatric, medical, housing, legal, and community partners.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
