Job summary

The SAFE Alliance in Austin, TX is seeking compassionate Advocates to provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed support for survivors of gender-based violence. This PRN, non-exempt role requires on-call availability, travel to medical and accompaniment locations in Travis County, and in-person service delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in crisis stabilization or advocacy, a strong understanding of trauma-informed care, and bilingual ability in Spanish and English is

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of crisis stabilization, advocacy, or case management experience.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and survivor-centered advocacy practices.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Advocate for survivors and coordinate with medical, legal, and social services.
• Respond to on-call dispatches within required timeframes and document interactions.
