Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a School Clinician to support students in our alternative school placement program in Wilmington, Delaware. You will provide individual and group counseling, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and support behavior goals.

You will collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners to implement skill-building curricula and respond to crises using CPI techniques when necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Trauma, CBT, NCC, or DBT credentials preferred but not required.
• Desire to support at-risk youth in an alternative school setting.
• Able to pass background and criminal record checks.
• Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculous test).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Complete assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Support IEP and behavior goals in collaboration with school staff.
• Implement skill-building curriculum.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and CPI when required.
• Collaborate with families and external partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case records.
