Valle del Sol in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a School-Based Counselor to provide behavioral health counseling to children and adolescents within partnered schools. You will conduct assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and collaboration with families and school staff to promote student well-being and success.

The role follows a 10-month academic-year schedule aligned with school calendars and requires a Master’s in a behavioral health field, plus active Arizona licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families.
• Preference for school-based or community behavioral health experience; collaboration with schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling in school-based settings.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning.
• Coordinate care with school staff, caregivers, and community partners.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational interventions.
• Maintain caseload productivity and timely documentation.
• Travel between school campuses and Valle del Sol locations as required.
