Job summary

Aura Health in Wisconsin is seeking an Adult Residential Support Professional to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care in a residential treatment setting for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.

You will support residents’ recovery through daily structure, monitor well-being, assist with daily living tasks, and participate in staff trainings. Experience in human services and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
• Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Training in Fire Safety, First Aid, and Medication Administration preferred but can be obtained post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ recovery journey through daily encouragement and structure.
• Monitor and document resident well-being and progress.
• Administer or oversee medication management.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately.
• Transport residents and facilitate educational or life skills activities.
• Collect specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
