Job summary

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services in Oakland is seeking a Residential Supervisor to lead safe, trauma-informed care for program participants. You will supervise residential staff, ensure licensing standards, and collaborate with the Residential Manager to maintain high-quality services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a social science field, California licensing training, and eligibility or credentialing as a RBT or QBMP.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in programmatic functions.
• Ability to manage and supervise staff.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive services for participants and families.
• Bachelor’s degree in a social science field or equivalent experience.
• Meet CA licensing training requirements for community care licensing.
• Become a Registered Behavior Technician or be eligible as a QBMP.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, trauma-informed care to participants.
• Oversee daily residential and program operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise residential staff.
• Address performance concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide floor coverage as needed and support program needs.
