Job summary

The Child Advocacy Center in Missouri seeks a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric NP to deliver trauma-informed medical care for children where abuse or neglect is suspected. You will support MDTs, perform examinations, document findings, and contribute to medical protocols.

Open to part-time with a two-day-per-week commitment up to full-time; compensation includes health, dental and vision coverage, Simple IRA matching, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.

Qualifications

Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric NP in Missouri.
Three years of pediatric experience.
Maintains licensure, certification, and SAFE-CARE status in Missouri.

Responsibilities

Provide trauma-informed medical care for children suspected of abuse/neglect.
Perform comprehensive pediatric medical examinations and document findings.
Collaborate with MDT; participate in court testimony when required.
Develop and follow medical protocols; support quality assurance activities.
Educate medical professionals and MDT members on child abuse evaluation.
