Job summary

One More Child is seeking an Anti-Trafficking Mentor in Lakeland, FL. The role supports survivors of trafficking with mobile direct services, crisis intervention, and care management for victims and their families in the region.

As a first responder, you will work within a team to assess needs, coordinate services, and accompany clients to medical appointments and court. Strong trauma-informed practice and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Survivor of childhood sexual abuse, exploitation, and/or sex trafficking, with a minimum three years of recovery.
• Highschool diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile direct services based on the needs identified in the victim’s assessment.
• Collaborate with the AT Team to ensure victims’ needs are met.
• Provide ongoing mobile care management to victims and their families where housed.
• Verify victim’s eligibility for services/benefits.
• Support victims by attending court and accompanying appointments as needed.
• Assist with special services to help victims manage practical problems and recover property evidence.
