Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is opening a new 14-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility in Eugene, Oregon. The Milieu Supervisor will provide trauma-informed leadership and mentorship, coordinating daily operations for the unit and guiding treatment plans for youth ages 12–17 in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, coordinating multidisciplinary treatment, scheduling and supervising staff, ensuring safe admissions, and maintaining communication with families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related industry.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required and must meet state driving requirements.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities.
• Must be open to meeting cultural needs and values.
• Successfully participate in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention exam and training.
• Must pass DHS criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed milieu leadership and mentorship in treatment plans.
• Participate in development and implementation of client treatment plans and interventions.
• Identify and analyze potential problems and risks and propose solutions.
• Ensure safe and welcoming admissions and meet milieu needs for youth and family.
• Plan and schedule trauma-informed daily treatment services.
• Monitor delivery of treatment services and family inclusion/comms.
• Track youth needs related to clothing, meals, court meetings, family time.
• Interview and hire new youth care staff; provide on-the-job coaching and training.
• Prepare staff work schedules and approve timecards.
• Ensure staff perform duties in a calm, therapeutic, trauma-informed manner.
• Coordinate and ensure shift-related client and staff documentation.
• Provide direct floor coverage as needed.
