Job summary

A multicultural counseling practice in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a limited permit Therapy Associate or a licensed Therapist with a preference for Marriage and Family Therapists. The role involves conducting therapy sessions and integrating trauma-informed practices with Christian spirituality. Candidates should have a Master's degree in a related field and must hold a New York State Limited Permit or License. This position offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a New York State Limited Permit or License in MFT, SW or MHC.
• Preference for previous experience as a marriage and family therapist.
• Interest in trauma-informed, emotionally-focused therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 15-20 sessions per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Perform intake assessments.
• Provide trauma-informed and faith-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain up-to-date client files in our EMR system.
• Document patient information, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Offer free consultations and maintain availability for sessions.
• Participate in social media and content delivery.
