Job summary

Lad Lake Synergy School in Wisconsin is seeking a Math Teacher (Licensed 6th–12th) to guide students facing emotional and behavioral challenges toward a high school diploma. You will create engaging lessons, align with IEPs, and work closely with families and staff in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates hold a Wisconsin teaching certificate, are at least 21, and bring 2–3 years of classroom management experience while embracing trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive instruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• 21 years old or older.
• Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate.
• 2–3 years of classroom management with students facing emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
• Patience, positive approach and trauma‑informed care.
• Culture-friendly mindset and ability to engage diverse youth.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and intervene when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, engaging learning environment using appropriate materials and methods.
• Design and deliver lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and IEPs.
• Maintain open communication with families and support staff; model positive behavior.
• Follow MPS curriculum; ensure inclusive and culturally sensitive instruction.
• Protect youth privacy and safety in all interactions.
