Qualifications

• Requires ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Secondary Education, Grades 9-12, in Mathematics.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching mathematics preferred.
• Experience with math curriculum development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers classroom instruction in mathematics to participating youth.
• Develops curricula for the assigned teaching subject per Core Curriculum policy.
• Develops assessment tools to measure student strengths, weaknesses, and progress.
• Maintains detailed records on attendance, achievement, and learner progress.
• Attends teachers’ meetings and participates in staff development activities.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the listed responsibilities.
