Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• One year of related work experience or Master's degree transcript
• TJJD Juvenile Probation Officer certification within six months
• CPR certification within six months
• First aid certification within six months
• Handle with Care certification within six months
• TBRI training within six months

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and supervision of youth on caseload using trauma-informed practices
• Interviews and counsel offenders and families
• Appear in juvenile court and testify at hearings
• Coordinate and transport youth for appointments and placements
• Develop relationships with law enforcement, schools, courts, and social service agencies
• Ensure compliance with release conditions and program requirements
