Job summary

A community support organization in New York is seeking a licensed Therapist to provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling services to survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). The Therapist will work closely with clients to help them heal and regain their safety. Ideal candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, relevant licensure, and experience in trauma-informed services. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and licensure required in Social Work, LMSW, or LMHC.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience providing trauma-informed domestic violence prevention services.
• Experience with adults who have caused harm in their relationships is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to survivors of IPV and their children.
• Conduct clinical intake and create service plans.
• Co-facilitate support and accountability groups.
