Job summary

SpringPath Mental Health Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks an Intensive Living Specialist/ Mental Health Worker to support individuals with serious mental illness in an intensive residential setting. You will provide medication administration, group and individual activities, and daily living skills coaching.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, documentation, budgeting, meal planning, and collaboration with clinical teams to promote recovery and quality of life for clients served.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma with 2,000 supervised hours in the delivery of services to adults with serious mental illness.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to person(s) served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
• Interacts with person(s) served and staff to promote rights and quality of life.
• Assist Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioners with requested needs.
• Follow agency procedures to promote health care, safety, and behavioral supports.
• Administrative duties (scanning, faxing, organizing).
• Oversees meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Cleaning.
• Transport clients.
• Provide group and individual services for clients.
• Teach clients independent living skills.
• Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with teams.
• Provide financial management for day-to-day program operations.
• Ensure compliance with training licensing regulations and company policies.
• Medication administration and monitoring.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Manage the day-to-day therapeutic environment and crisis prevention.
• Develop and participate in community and in-house recreational activities.
• Complete all documentation.
