Job summary

Metrocare Services seeks a part-time Health and Safety Associate in Dallas. You will maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment of care, engage with families and staff, and support emergency response and daily operations across agency sites.

The role emphasizes health and safety duties, community engagement, and coordination with facilities for timely issue resolution. Prior HS diploma and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, visible customer service and engage with staff and visitors.
• Observe lobbies for changes in behavior and connect individuals with clinical staff as needed.
• Perform health and safety patrols and site checks to ensure campus safety.
• Respond to non-police emergency calls including fire and security alarms, medical emergencies, and hazards.
• Submit timecards accurately and timely.
• Open/close clinic and ensure building security.
• Use two-way radios and cell phones to communicate with staff on-site.
• Complete routine safety inspections and reports.
