Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
• 2 years of experience providing professional nursing services in settings serving survivors of violence or related fields.
• Current RN license in Maryland.
• MDForensic Nurse Examiner Adult/Pediatric certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide trauma-informed forensic medical examinations for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and trafficking.
• Conduct comprehensive medical-forensic assessments and document findings clearly.
• Collect, preserve, and maintain specimens for legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, advocates, prosecutors, and other medical providers.
• Lead MDT discussions and provide medical expertise for case coordination.
• Provide education, training, and consultation on trauma-informed care.
