Job summary

GRO Community is seeking a Family Therapist to provide home- and community-based family therapy in the Chicagoland area. The role emphasizes engagement, flexibility, and tailoring interventions to each family’s needs using FFT and related home-based models.

The clinician will manage a focused caseload, collaborate with schools and child welfare, and work with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive team. This is a hybrid, per-diem position offering professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Illinois clinical licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC) or pursuing licensure.
• Experience engaging families in conflict or crisis.

Responsibilities

• Provide home- and community-based family therapy to 10–15 families.
• Deliver interventions such as FFT and other home-based models.
• Engage families in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Conduct assessment, treatment planning, and sessions.
• Collaborate with schools, courts, and child welfare.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Participate in supervision and training.
