Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Fargo, ND is looking for a Parent Partner to provide peer support to parents of youth in need of services. This role involves collaborating with families and advocating for their needs within a trauma-informed framework.

The Parent Partner will manage family involvement, connect them to resources, and assist with navigating mental health systems. Applicants should have relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as the legal guardian or caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
• Experience with Children’s Mental Health systems such as DHS or social services.
• Must be willing to complete Family Peer Specialist Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to parents of youth receiving services.
• Manage positive family involvement in the treatment process.
• Connect families to resources and advocate for them.
