Job summary

Ravenwood Health in Ohio is seeking an Engagement Therapist to join our expanding outpatient team. The therapist will provide trauma-informed, culturally competent assessment and therapy for individuals and families dealing with life challenges, mental health, and substance use concerns.

You will maintain clinical documentation, collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, and participate in supervision to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's level clinician in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• Licensed professional credentials as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health and/or substance use treatment to clients.
• Complete and maintain clinical documentation within agency set timeframes.
• Maintain productivity expectations for your position and department.
• Participate in interdisciplinary clinical/administrative team meetings.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with professionals in the community and other agencies through verbal and written communication.
• Conceptualize mental health, behavioral and substance use disorders considering growth and development in youth and adults.
• Assist client in defining and implementing treatment goals and develop a collaborative treatment plan.
• Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed.
• Skills in applying varied interventions with individuals and families in crisis.
• Administer drug screening as clinically necessary.
