Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or related mental health field.
• Licensure in the State of KY (LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, MFT, LMFT).
• Must meet Medicaid requirement for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) or BHP under clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of mental health diagnosis (DSM V-TR) and ability to effectively utilize a range of therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to independently manage time and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• The Therapist position provides mental health services, including diagnostic assessments and individual/group/family therapy.
• Collaboration with external stakeholders (e.g., school districts) as part of the role.
• Actively adhere to trauma-informed care principles and promote a trauma-informed culture.
• Meet agency utilization expectations and complete clinical paperwork within timelines.
• Participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and continuing education as required.
