Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Clinician II/III to join a multi-disciplinary team in Spokane. The role provides rapid crisis assessment, engagement, and linkage to community resources, including Medicaid enrollment assistance and follow-up planning.

The position requires a Master's in behavioral health and driving capability for community travel with FBH vehicles or personal car. Shift is Wednesday-Saturday 7:00AM-5:30PM with a 2.75% differential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health or related field.
• Must submit for Counselor Agency Affiliated - Registered credential from WA DOH within 30 days of hire.
• CYFMC/MCAT: unrestricted driver's license, pass vehicle screenings, and use of personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis and hospital diversion services for youth, adults, and families.
• Perform initial and follow-up assessments for moderate/high risk individuals.
• Complete suicide and homicide risk assessments to ensure safety.
• Develop stabilization and safety plans with client and support network.
• Maintain timely documentation supporting safety plans.
• Develop knowledge of community resources to address client needs.
• Create follow-up plans for at-risk children, youth, and families.
• Ensure discharge plans include client input and are time-limited.
• Maintain relationships with courts, police, and facilities statewide.
• Provide case management and wrap-around services as needed.
