Job summary

South Coast Community Services is seeking clinicians to provide comprehensive mental health services, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with Probation, Schools, and County Behavioral Health Services.

Responsibilities include trauma-informed therapy, diagnostic assessments, and participation in on-call rotations. Licensure requirements vary by tier, with opportunities for stipends through program expansion and post-licensure merit increases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• 1+ years’ experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.
• CPR/First Aid completed within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and their families.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy, formulate diagnoses and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
• Acquire and apply up-to date knowledge of evidenced-based interventions and methodologies.
• Administer measures such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 to inform treatment.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to meet treatment goals and comply with court orders.
• Attend required meetings and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care.
