Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Ohio seeks a Clinical Resource Specialist for OhioRISE to support children and youth with complex needs. You will guide families, care coordinators, and state partners using trauma-informed, strength-based approaches to connect youth to community and state systems of care.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, relationship-building, and the ability to collaborate across systems. Travel within designated service areas is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in mental/behavioral health services, including leadership or clinical consultation for complex cases.
• Bachelor-level and master-level education required with relevant licensure in Ohio.
• Active LISW/LPCC licensure in Ohio is required.
• Knowledge of OhioRISE guidelines, Medicaid requirements, and HIPAA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert for Child and Family Team meetings, guiding high-acuity cases.
• Provide clinical consultation to support trauma-informed, strength-based, family-centered care planning.
• Advise on care plans, crisis plans, and safety planning within licensure scope.
• Connect youth and families to local and state systems of care.
• Support clinical decision-making for ongoing behavioral health care.
• Collaborate with OhioRISE staff and community partners for coordinated care.
• Align clinical practices with OhioRISE standards and Medicaid requirements.
• Assist in OhioRISE trainings for quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate client documentation in EHRs.
• Comply with HIPAA and professional ethics.
• Travel within designated service areas.
