Job summary

United Community & Family Services, Inc. in Eastern Connecticut seeks a SAMHSA Clinician II to provide clinical assessment, treatment and client-centered care for children ages 0-6 in a grant-funded program.

The role includes developing treatment plans, coordinating with schools and child welfare, on-call coverage during hours, and working within EPIC for documentation; requires a CT LCSW/LPC/LMFT and at least 3 years of clinical experience with children.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• 3 years of clinical experience; 4 years with children and caregivers.
• CT state LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.
• ARC training within 6 months of hire and ARC certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental, emotional, developmental and behavioral difficulties in children and families.
• Coordinate services with schools, DCF and other providers.
• Develop and review treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide strength-based, client-centered clinical services.
• Take on-call on-site support during operating hours.
