Job summary

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center in Arizona is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for Specialized Residential Services. You will provide direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent girls in a nonprofit residential program, helping them stabilize, develop skills, and work toward treatment goals.

This role offers a $2,000 signing and retention bonus, a base wage of $20.30 per hour plus a $2–$3 shift differential, comprehensive insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Background check with Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Education/Experience options described in qualifications.
• Experience with youth or behavioral health valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and therapeutic structure of the residential environment.
• Provide supervision and accountability during the shift.
• Teach daily living activities and personal organization.
• Supervise life-skills activities and community outings.
• Support youth in recreational, academic, and extracurricular activities.
• Document observations and interventions accurately.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and safety protocols.
