Job summary
A healthcare services provider in California seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, overseeing behavior support plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support adults with intellectual disabilities. Some remote work may be required but will primarily focus on Santa Barbara and Carpinteria programs.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
Train and support direct support staff and caregivers.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Monitor data and outcomes, modifying interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
Skills
Active BCBA certification
Strong clinical skills
Strong communication skills
Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
Education
Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
