Job summary

Wisdom Traditions Counseling Services seeks an Addiction Counselor with Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDC) certification to join our clinical team in Anchorage, Alaska. You will provide direct counseling, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans while supporting clients through recovery in a trauma-informed, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

CDC certification from Alaska is required.
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.
Minimum 4 years of addiction counseling experience.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to clients with substance use disorders.
Conduct assessments to identify client needs and treatment goals.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans for clients.
Offer psychoeducation to clients and families about addiction, recovery, and dynamics.
Collaborate with the clinical team for integrated care and maintain accurate EHR records.
Provide case management and coordinate with healthcare providers and resources.
Deliver trauma-informed care and monitor client progress, adjusting plans as needed.
