Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. You will work with medical providers to provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

The RN will document care, administer prescribed medications, and monitor patient status, contributing to a safe, compassionate environment while upholding service values.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or appropriate compact state.
• Appropriate communication skills.
• Education - ASN, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Promotes customer service initiatives along with Skyline Medical Center Service Values. (HCAHPS)
• Documents all patient care.
• Utilizes Nursing Process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
• Performs procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
