Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Medical-Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and communicate patient needs effectively across shifts.

The role requires at least 1 year of Med-Surg experience, an active Tennessee nursing license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Tennessee nursing licensure or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue Med-Surg certification within 1 year from hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Perform assessments and reassessments, develop care plans.
• Administer medications and document appropriately.
• Demonstrate nursing skills and procedures.
