Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Trauma Surgical ICU (TSICU) at our York facility. You will be the primary nurse, coordinating care for critically ill trauma and surgical patients and working with interdisciplinary teams to develop outcome-driven plans.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring patient status, documenting progress, and ensuring safety and quality in care delivery. Current BLS is required; ACLS/PALS per unit may be needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience required; ICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as primary nurse for TSICU patients.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Organize care with prioritization based on patient condition.
• Document patient responses and progress in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and teams for care planning.
• Demonstrate professional growth and improvement in practice.
