Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Trauma, SICU, and Surgery team on rotating nights at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis, IN. The APP will work with surgeons, residents, and a large team to care for ICU trauma patients.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's degree and are board eligible or certified, with ACNP/AGNP/FNP or PA certification. Critical Care experience is a plus, and autonomous practice with accurate documentation is

• Master's degree required.
• Board eligible or board certified.
• ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required.
• Critical Care experience a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong clinical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tube insertions.
• Care for surgical ICU and trauma ICU patients as part of the team.
• Work rotating night shifts with no on-call requirement.
