Job summary

Ascension in Wichita, KS, seeks an experienced RN for a full-time days role at Via Christi, St Francis. You will lead holistic patient care, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients while ensuring safe discharge planning and home transition. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Licensed RN credentialed by the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead holistic patient care with personalized care plans and monitor clinical conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team as primary care coordinator for seamless communication.
• Advocate for patients by translating physician orders into bedside action with proper protocols.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate home transition for patient and family.
