Job summary

IsoTalent seeks a Trauma-Focused Mental Health Specialist to join South Central Idaho Youth and Adult Crisis Centers. The role provides outpatient, trauma-focused care to youth and adults amid mental health and substance-use crises within a collaborative, trauma-informed team.

You will deliver crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and skill-building, with opportunities for supervision where applicable and a strong emphasis on accessible, compassionate care across the region.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho Counseling License (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, AMFT, or LMFT) or master’s degree with willingness to obtain Idaho licensure within 6 months
• 1+ years counseling experience preferred (not required)
• Experience in addiction medicine helpful
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and treatment planning
• Provide crisis intervention services
• Facilitate individual, group, and family psychotherapy
• Deliver Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
• Collaborate with courts, medical providers, and community treatment partners
• Lead skill-building groups for adults or children with serious mental illness
• Support family involvement programs
• Deliver outpatient substance abuse treatment and recovery support
• For supervisory roles: provide clinical supervision (requires independent licensure and 2+ years supervision experience)
