Job summary

Novant Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide trauma care across the patient continuum, from activation to recovery. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in process improvements, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Applicants must hold an RN license in the state, have 2+ years in Emergency, Critical Care or Trauma, and obtain TNCC within 90 days of hire. A Trauma Certified RN (TCRN) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must interpret information to determine each patient’s care needs by age.
• Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills with patients and teams.
• Complies with regulatory and credentialing requirements and participates in quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care to trauma patients throughout care continuum.
• Collaborate with departments and trauma services team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with process improvement and trauma registry data entry/abstraction.
