Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in a Physician Assistant program approved by a recognized medical body.
• Experience - No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs health histories, physical exams, individual and group health education.
• Orders diagnostic tests with physician approval, including CTs/MRIs/ultrasound and contrast studies.
• Interprets findings, diagnoses, and formulates treatment plans, prescribing medications per licensing laws.
• Refers cases to supervising physician when limits of care are exceeded.
• Provides emergency care to prevent loss of life, limb or eyesight and initiates procedures.
• Supports clinic function by participating in policy development and operational improvements.
