Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Trauma II Emergency Department at Mount Carmel East for three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6am to 6:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. The RN will deliver holistic patient care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborate with the care team, and document assessments, plans, and outcomes clearly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

• Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®.
