Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest is seeking a Trauma / Critical Care Surgeon to join the Division of Acute Care Surgery in Waco, TX. This employed role offers competitive salary, bonus, relocation assistance, and a no state income tax environment.

Candidates must be trauma and critical care trained, BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, with access to four da Vinci robotic systems and a dedicated 24-hour OR suite for trauma cases.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and licensed in Texas.
• Fellowship training in Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, or Acute Care Surgery.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility by AB Surgeon boards; Texas license expected.

Responsibilities

• Shift-based position focusing on trauma and acute care surgery coverage.
• Join an established Trauma team as the sixth surgeon.
• Supervise day-shift coverage with APPs on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
