Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health's Trauma Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized patient care in a fast-paced setting with growth opportunities and high-quality care.

This role requires NJ RN license, BSN in progress or commitment to complete within three years, and preferably 2 years in critical care or ED trauma. Compensation is $45/hour with day shifts at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress or planned to complete within three years of hire.
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience or Nurse Residency program.
• 2 years critical care and/or ED trauma experience strongly preferred.
• Current and valid New Jersey RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based standards of care.
• Communicate patient status and plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation systems.
• Document assessments, plans of care, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to improve health outcomes.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges for safe transitions of care.
