Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered care team. You will work under the Nurse Manager, applying evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients and families.

Qualified candidates hold a Connecticut RN license, have graduated from an accredited nursing school, and are ASN with BSN within 6 years; BLS is required before hire.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• ASN required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role).
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process to develop a plan of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.
