Job summary

Hartford Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a patient-centered care model within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Under the Nurse Manager, the RN uses evidence-based practices to meet the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families.

Requirements include a current Connecticut RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, ASN with BSN within six years, BSN preferred, and BLS certification prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role).
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Apply evidence-based practices to develop and implement care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
