Job summary

HonorHealth is hiring for a Patient Care Technician in the Trauma Care Unit at Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time night shift position on 3-12 hour rotations (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) offers self-scheduling and weekend/holiday rotations.

The role supports telemetry and med-surg trauma patients, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital setting. Requires a high school diploma and healthcare experience; BLS is mandatory, CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months healthcare experience within the last year; 6 months acute care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; EMT/BHT experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision, including activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed caregiver.
• Document care provided accurately in medical records.
